Consulting to us is a catchall phrase that covers a variety of non-traditional engagements that we are asked to perform. Defining these services is somewhat difficult because they are so varied. Typically, they would involve the application of our tax or financial expertise to a particular problem or transaction. Some examples would be:

• The development of a bank loan application

• Help with restructuring a business to maximize asset protection

• Analyzing the merits of a business purchase or sale decision

These services are usually performed for existing clients because it is by working together that we have been able to demonstrate our competence and good judgment. When all is said and done, a good consultant is one who will share an opinion with you that you will value and which will allow you to make the best business decision possible.
